Mountain Regional Water Special Service District is accepting applications for full-time Seasonal Maintenance and Repair Operator positions from approximately June 1 through August 31. Applicants must be 16 years of age and possess a valid Utah Driver’s License. Positions will require considerable physical outdoor activity. Applicants must have the ability to perform manual tasks for sustained periods of time. Hourly wage $13.00 - $17.00. Mountain Regional Water is a drug free workplace.

New Water Meter - Request for Proposals

Request for Water Metering Equipment and Services            Posted 3/27/2017

Mountain Regional Water Special Service District (the “District”) seeks to acquire an advanced fixed base or cellular type culinary water meter reading system. As such, the District is requesting proposals for a new water meter system for all future and replacement customer meters within the District. The District currently has over 4,000 customer meters and anticipates up to a 5 year conversion period to a new system. All installation services will be provided by District staff. The closing date of this announcement is April 10, 2017 at 5:00 PM.

New Job Postings for a Water Operator 1

Mountain Regional Water Special Service District is accepting applications for an Entry Level Water Systems Operator 1 with an emphasis in customer service. Applicants must be 18 years of age and possess a valid Utah Driver’s License along with a High School Diploma. Preference given to applicants with previous work experience in customer service, general construction; operation, maintenance, and repair of water systems; or electrical/mechanical system service. Applicants should have working knowledge of basic computer and Microsoft Office applications along with the ability to operate various equipment and perform manual tasks for sustained periods of time. This position will require considerable year-round physical activity and also require successful completion of a level II Utah State Water Certification within one year of employment. Salary $17.98-$21.60 per hour depending on qualifications; plus regular full-time benefits. Mountain Regional Water is a drug free workplace. Closing date, March 31, 2017 or until filled. EOE.
