Because of the many pump stations we inherited in our rationalization project, many of these are old, obsolete, and very inefficient in their operation and energy consumption. Mountain Regional has an ongoing program to upgrade many of these over time to the model of efficiency and reliability.
Installation of new energy efficient motor control center into underground pump station in Bear Hollow.
Newly constructed Summit Booster Pump Station at the top of Promontory.
One of our new high efficiency pump stations serving middle valley of promontory. This design uses only about half of the power demand of a conventional pumping facility.
Middle Valley Booster.
Typical pump station emergency back-up generator.
Recently upgraded high efficiency Blackhawk Booster Pump Station.
High efficiency HVAC heat pump system in the Summit pump station, which uses the water in the pipelines for a heating and cooling transfer medium.
